I became familiar with InDesign as a freshman in high school, designing sports pages for my school’s news magazine, the Northwest Explorer. When I became editor-in-chief of The Sunflower at WSU my senior year, I took on design projects, designing special front pages and leading other designers to brainstorm ideas for infographics and front-page packages. I also designed spreads for a class at Wichita State, the Flint Hills Media Project, that put together a magazine. I contributed designs to two magazines.
